WOODEN NICKELS

WRITTEN BY JOSEPH SKIBELL
DIRECTED BY TIM MCDONOUGH
CO-DESIGN WITH MALINA RODRIEGUEZ

Wooden Nickels, by Joseph Skibell, adapted from the story, “Wooden Nickels” that appears in his novel “My Father’s Guitar & Other Imaginary Things,” a collection of true stories. At the request of their uncle, two brothers travel to a chicken farm in upstate New York to check out a barn full of the earthly goods left behind by their father’s eccentric first cousin, Jack Tiger, who produced and directed some very odd films. The brothers, one a writer and the other an actor, are now rehearsing a play based on these events and on their family’s history.
